I’m chatting with Jamie Russo about her role in bridging coworking and office business center culture and how the this year’s Global Workspace Association conference in Las Vegas is geared towards both.

About Jamie Russo

Jamie Russo is GWA’s Executive Director, responsible for setting strategy for the association, executing on activities to support the strategy and relentlessly focusing on continuously creating member value. Jamie is past president of the League of Extraordinary Coworking spaces (LEXC) and founded two coworking spaces in Chicago and Palo Alto under the brand Enerspace Coworking. She is passionate about the consumerization of the workplace and the opportunities for shared workspace providers to shape the future of work.

An active voice in the shared space industry, she hosts the podcast “Everything Coworking” which keeps listeners up to date on shared workspace trends and how-to’s, speaks at industry conferences such as GCUC and Worktech, and is an ongoing contributor to Work Design Magazine.

Her professional experience outside of the industry has primarily been in Fortune 500 marketing, start-up operations and leadership, product development, client management and business consulting. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. She lives in the Bay area with her husband, daughter and two Mini Goldendoodles. She’s an avid Crossfit-er, runner and healthy cook.
